This book is the ideal tool for efficiently preparing the Excel 2007 Microsoft® Certified Application Specialist (77-602) exam. Approved by Microsoft®, it covers the entire set of exam objectives and contains a large number of exercises to help you to revise efficiently before taking the Certification exam. It is divided into sections each of which is divided into chapters, which in turn are divided into subjects. Each section covers a specific theme: data, formulas, worksheets, data presentation, charts and graphic objects, data organisation, managing books and printing, group work and data security. Each exam objective is covered by one or more subjects; each subject is covered by the exercises. The chapters are independent from each other; you can therefore adapt your training to your needs: for example, if you are already familiar with text formatting techniques you might only want to do the exercise for this subject and then, if necessary, go over the theoretical points for which you need more information. You can also study the lessons and/or do the exercises in any order. At the end of the book is a glossary of the main terms specific to the software, the list of official exam objectives and an index you can use to rapidly find information on specific manipulations.
