If you only want to add the tool to a single document or template, open that document or template. If you want to add the tool to all documents, open any document.
Open the Quick Access Toolbar list by clicking the tool button to the right of the Quick Access Toolbar.
A list appears. Check the options you want to customise from the list, or click More Commands.
The Word Options dialogue box appears with the Quick Access Toolbar category highlighted. Available commands are displayed in the left pane, while commands already on the Quick Access Toolbar are displayed in the right pane.
Open the Customize Quick Access Toolbar list and choose whether you want the tool available For all documents or For "active document’s name" only.
Open the Choose commands from list and select the category of command to add.
The corresponding commands are displayed in the box that appears under that list.
In the left pane, select the command to add to the Quick Access Toolbar then click Add.
The new command also appears in the right-hand Customize Quick Access Toolbar pane.
In this example, the Quick Print tool will be available for all documents.
When all tools have been added, click OK in the Word Options dialogue box.
