If your document has headings to which you have applied preset heading styles (Heading1, Heading2, Heading3…), you can choose to hide or show the content of these headings directly in the document.
Ensure the relevant document is displayed in Print Layout or Read Mode.
To hide the content of a heading, point to the relevant heading then click the symbol to the left of the heading.
To show the content of a heading, click the symbol to the left of the heading.
The body text and the heading’s subheadings can once more be seen in the document.
To show or hide the content of all headings in the document, right-click one of the headings in the document, point to the Expand/Collapse option, then click Expand All Headings or Collapse All Headings as applicable.
The Expand Heading and Collapse Heading options in this menu can be used to show or hide the content of the active heading.
