Applying a 3-D effect to characters

In the Home tab, click the images/13i10.png button in the Font group, then the Text Effects button.

Click the images/13i50.png icon then the 3-D Format option

Select the top and bottom bevel in the Top bevel and Bottom bevel lists then define the Width and Height of each bevel.

Define the depth of the 3-D effect in the Size field then select its colour from the corresponding list.

To apply an outline to a 3-D effect, define its size in the Size field then select a colour from the corresponding list.

To change the 3-D surface style, choose an option from the Material list.

The Lighting and Angle options only apply to objects, not text.

The Reset button cancels 3-D effects.

When you have finished defining 3-D effects, click the OK button in the Format Text Effects pane, then OK in the Font dialogue box.
