Changing the image brightness, contrast, sharpness and colours

Select the image and click the contextual Format tab.

To modify the picture’s sharpness, brightness and contrast, go to the Adjust group, click Corrections and then click the picture corresponding to the effect you want.

To modify the picture’s colours, go to the Adjust group, click the Color button and then click the picture corresponding to the effect you want.

When you point to a sharpness, brightness, contrast, or recolour option, the effect is previewed in your document.

To change the sharpness, contrast or brightness of image, you can also use the Picture Corrections and Picture Color options from the Format Picture pane (Format tab - Picture Styles group - images/13i10.png button - Picture images/13i121.png icon).

To remove recolouring from a picture, click the Color button (Format tab - Adjust group), then click the first effect in the Recolor category.

Just like an image, you can change the brightness, contrast, sharpness and colour of a video.
