Managing watermarks

Modifying a text or image-based watermark

From the Design tab, go to the Page Background group, click Watermark, then click Custom Watermark.

The Printed Watermark dialogue displays the options previously specified during the creation of the watermark. If the watermark to be modified is a Text watermark, the corresponding option is active; if it is a picture, the Picture watermark option is active.

Change the options as required.

Click Apply or OK.

To change a built-in watermark or a watermark created from a header, double click-in the header area of the page containing the watermark to be modified, then make the changes required. You can also use this method to change a watermark created using the Printed Watermark dialogue box.

Deleting a watermark

From the Design tab, go to Page Background, click Watermark, then click Remove Watermark.

To remove a watermark created from a header, double-click in the header area of a page containing the watermark and delete the graphic object.

Saving a watermark

You can create a custom watermark then save it in the gallery of built-in watermarks for later use.

Create and format the graphic object that is to be the watermark, then select it.

From the Design tab, go to the Page Background group, click the Watermark button, then click Save Selection to Watermark Gallery.

As a watermark is a building block, the Create New Building Block dialogue box appears.

Specify the name of the watermark in the Name box.

Make sure the Watermarks option is checked in the Gallery list. ...
