Linking two text boxes

When you link text boxes, excess text will flow over from the first text box into the second.

Create the first text box and enter its contents.

Create a second text box and leave it blank.

Select the first text box.

From the Format tab, go to the Text group and click the Create Link button: the pointer takes this shape images/XPB55.png.

Click in the empty text box.

The excess text from the first text box overflows into the second text box.

You can remove the link between two text boxes by selecting the first text box then, in the Format tab, clicking the Break Link button from the Text group.
